Norwood Park

WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY AT NORWOOD PARK
When you get married at Norwood Park you’re following a long line of couples to have done so. Couples have married at Norwood Park under the Ancient Oak since Saxon times, so the venue is steeped in romantic history.
Norwood Park is near Southwell and holds a licence to perform civil ceremonies in the elegant Drawing Room, which holds up to 75 guests. The venue is available on an exclusive hire basis so and your guests will be able to enjoy the 100 acres of ancient deer parkland and magnificent views of the lake to yourselves.
The House overlooks the lake and apple orchards and is a real haven of tranquility. Built in 1764, Norwood Park has been home to the Starkey family for five generations, who open their home to share with happy couples and their guests for weddings.
With its roots firmly entwined with the English countryside, Norwood Park’s orchards are born from the original Bramley apple. The Old Apple Store and stables are now converted into a Palladian style Gallery and covered Courtyard to add extra charm to the backdrop of your photographs.
While the orchards in bloom and summer sun provide beautiful views on a summer wedding day, winter weddings are an equally magical affair with the open courtyard being enclosed with a marquee for added sparkle to your celebrations. These external views make for great locations for Norwood Park wedding photography.
