Angela & Rich - Norwood Park Wedding Photographs - 29/08/10
Yesterday we were at the wonderful Norwood Park for Angela and Rich's wedding, I say 'we' because Rob Sanderson came along with me to this wedding to help out. Who's this Rob Sanderson I hear you ask? Well, he's a wedding photographer in Liverpool and is pretty handy with flashguns as well as being an all round 'good egg'.
But enough about us, Angela and Rich were married at Norwood Park, a beautiful venue in Southwell, Notts. As well as being a beautiful building, Norwood Park also has excellent photo opportunities outside. Although it rained a little on the day, we had an opportunity to go outside after the meal and create some wedding portraits with a little 'oomph!'.

Ash & Laura - Belton Woods Hotel - Wedding Slideshow - 15/08/10
I am a little behind with these slideshows for some reason so will be publishing a few over the next few days, they seem like a long time ago now!
So firstly a slideshow from Ash & Laura's fantastic Leicestershire / Lincolnshire wedding (started in one, finished in the other). Ash & Laura were married at their local church (as in, very local, literally just down the road) and then after travelling no distance to the church, decided to drive for miles to get to Belton Woods Golf Club and Hotel near Grantham! A beautiful day surrounded by Ash & Laura's friends and family.
I'm trying out a new format for these slideshows, it means a little less work for me, let me know what you think - you can also find all of the current wedding slideshows over on my brand new Vimeo channel.

Darren & Anna - Wedding Slideshow - The Carriage Hall - 31/07/10
No wedding this weekend, in fact, nothing this weekend. It's been very strange, no family to see, no jobs to do (OK, actually there are plenty of jobs to do, but I'm ignoring them). Just spending time with the family, bliss.
But clearly, I'm working, they've all gone to bed, and just before I do, a chance to show you Anna & Darren's wedding slideshow from The Carriage Hall in Plumtree. The Carriage hall is a converted engine shed (I think that's the right term, a railway house), but you wouldn't be able to tell. Beautiful both on the inside and outside, a term that describes Anna & Darren as well (that, I believe is called brown nosing). Enjoy!

Jody&Stacey- Judges Lodgings & Charlotte House Hotel Lincoln - 25/07/10
Jody & Stacey were married at The Judges Lodgings and had their reception at Charlotte House hotel in Lincoln. Jody is one of my oldest friends from my school days, so it was a privilege to be able to photograph Jody & Stacey's wedding.
The Judges Lodgings is a great (if slightly hot!) place to have a wedding ceremony, especially as you emerge straight out into the castle square with great views of the castle and cathedral, as you can see in the photos.
Stacey had obviously put a lot of thought into the details at the reception, including the biggest cake I have seen at a wedding so far (!), a table plan on a bird cage and, of course, some fantastic shoes.

Franca & Guillermo - Harts Hotel Wedding Nottingham - 24/07/10
Possibly the fastest wedding to make it to the blog - I finished photographing this wedding less than 12 hours ago! Franca & Guillermo were married at Harts Hotel in Nottingham on Friday. If you felt a certain 'latin' feel in the air in Nottingham yesterday, it may have been radiating from Harts - Guillermo is from Mexico and a fair amount of his family were there to share Franca & Guillermo's special day.
A fantastic day full of joy. laughter and maybe a few tears. The most bizarre thing is that as I left, in such an international wedding - the dancefloor was full of brits! Admittedly as Franca & Guillermo met through dancing, most of the dancing was a little more sophisticated than a standard wedding shuffle!
Congrats Franca & Guillermo! Enjoy your Honeymoon!
