I’m about to retire the current pair of hard drives that I keep all my wedding couples photos on as they’re reaching ‘very nearly full’, so before then I thought I’d have a look through and pick a photo or so from some weddings as a bit of a retrospective.
First up, way back in December 2006 is Tim and Cal’s Wedding at Woodborough Hall , which was pitch black by the time we got there, so here’s a quick outside portrait
Next up is Lance and Leah, who were married at The Oakham Suite in Mansfield

Then Ian and Alison, who were married in West Bridgford (OK, this isn’t Ian and Alison, they’re both a bit taller) but I do love this picture

Next up, Will and Beth who were married at Thrumpton Hall in Nottingham (I’m not sure if it just sneaks into Leicestershire actually) – this window is fantastic. Thrumpton Hall is a great venue.
And then a trip up north to photograph Annabel and Steven in Holmfirth, I was actually working for a friend on this one, Al Greer.

Back to Nottingham to photograph Roger and Denise’s wedding at Harts Hotel in Nottingham. Harts has lots of little photo opportunities around such a compact space, including this one:
Then on to Castle Donington to photograph Darren & Claire’s wedding at The Priest House Hotel. Here’s Darren anxiously awaiting his bride (don’t worry, she turned up)

And then staying in Castle Donington, Zoe and Kev at the Park Farmhouse Hotel (the service was in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire – but the reception was a wee trip down the M1)
Then back to Nottingham for Danny & Claire’s Wedding at Bestwood Lodge Hotel. During the taking of this photo I put my head in a molehill, but fear not! I was ok!
Then Stacey and Louise at Nottingham’s Gateway Hotel (The first one is in the church, but you get the picture)

Then Simon and Susannah at Patchings Art Center (this isn’t Patchings Art Center, it’s in the church)

And most recently, Kat and James at Sutton Bonington Hall in Leicestershire. All of the speeches at this wedding were hilarious, so this one captures the moment for me

And there you have it, goodbye old hard drives, hello new pictures!
Cheers
Jon
