Well kind of, I’ve made a few changes to the website, including giving the menus a spring clean and update, adding a few fancy bits (check out the contact form and about me menus) and a general update to the portfolio to reflect some of the newer pictures which hadn’t made it to the portfolio...

Stephen & Jenny - Last Drop Village
Stephen & Jenny were married at the Last Drop Village, surrounded by friends and family, and a surprise guest, who had traveled all the way from Lapland, via Australia!
The Last Drop is a fantastic venue for a wedding, but all the more important to Stephen & Jenny as it was the venue for their first...
Roz & Phil
Roz and Phil were married at Emmanuel Church, Sutton Coldfield and then had their reception at Packington Moor, near Litchfield. This was a slightly last minute wedding for me, as I was covering for another photographer, Gill Taylor, who had a family emergency. We often get asked what happens if we get poorly on your...
Lyndsay & Joanne’s Favourite
Lyndsay & Joanne’s civil partnership was on August 30th 2008 (it seems such a long time ago already!) at the Gateway Hotel in Nottingham. The photo above is the one they chose as their favourite from their photographs. They write
There are so many photographs from the collection that we really love but we think that...

Roger & Denise’s Favourite
Now we’re approaching the end of the wedding season (although my last wedding this year is December the 21st - brrrr, but ooh, christmassy!) I thought I’d round up some weddings this year by asking my couple’s what their single favourite wedding photo was, the experiment has thrown up some interesting results!
So first to Roger...
Susan & Tony’s Wedding at Georgetown Restaurant, Leeds
In what is a ‘destination wedding’ for me, this weekend saw a trip up the M1 to photograph Susan & Tony’s wedding at the Georgetown Restaurant in Leeds. The whole day took place inside the restaurant including service, meal and dancing and a great day was had by all. Congratulations Susan & Tony!

Another landscape
And then that’ it. The last few weeks have been absolute mayhem, so much so that taking these pictures seem like a distant memory now, but I put a fair bit of work into them (including getting up at 5am!) so I should post something. This is a coastal defence at Herne Bay Seafront.
Back from Kent
I am back and alive, despite approximately one million accidents on the M1. Here’s a nice serene landscape to relax you
I’ll post the rest when I get round to processing them. Currently sitting in the work queue are a set of proofs and an album design first though!
Cheers

Anna & Arran’s Wedding at Allington Manor, Lincolnshire
Anna & Arran were married at Allington Manor in Lincolnshire. They had a very small and intimate ceremony with just family and close friends. Their daughter also featured in the ceremony, but luckily kept quiet when asked if anyone knew of a reason they may not be married! She of course, also feature heavily in...
Hannah & Alex’s Wedding at Hart’s Hotel, Nottingham
Hannah and Alex were married at St Mary’s Church in Woolaton and had their first reception in the church hall, followed by a meal at Hart’s Hotel in Nottingham. They had a great day surrounded by friends and family. This is officially ‘The Wedding with the Most Locations of 2008′ as I travelled from the...
Ideas: Save The Date Cards
Planning your own wedding is great, as I get to trawl the web for lots of inspiration, but I thought I’d share our ‘Save the Date’ cards. As we’re planning our wedding in a pretty short timescale (5 months, actually 4 and a half!) we needed to get these out to people quickly. So one...

Churches Want You!
To get married there! The CofE is apparently looking at relaxing some of the ‘rules’ on getting married in Church, meaning that you can get married in a parish you don’t necessarily live in. See The Telegraph

Lottie & Richard’s Wedding, Nottingham Racecourse
Lottie and Richard were married at St Giles church in West Bridgford and held their reception at Nottingham Racecourse. The day was fantastic with the sun shining, great staff at both the church and the Racecourse and of course, two people who are very much in love.
